Inleiding:

The FR 101 was designed to be a full range speaker for mid size system or mid-high box in bigger 2 or 3 way highest standards systems.

Luidsprekers:

The 10MB600 or 10W400 transducer has been used as low and mid frequency component, while the HD120 on the elliptical shaped horn XT120 covers the high frequency range.

Constructie:

The crossover components design was specially chosen to achieve a clear “in the face” midrange, tight bass, clear treble rensponse, free from harshness and phase problems.
Its tuning frequency is studied and tested for optimum impedance load and the possibility to add extra level at the popular 63 Hz tuning frequency.
With a sensitivity of 99dB and a power handling of 600Watts it easily produce the required level in most applications. The box has 90 degree horizontal and 60 degree vertical coverage.
If extra coverage is needed, a splay of 40-45 degree should be between two boxes to achieve a total of 150 degree coverage. If extra long throw is wished two boxes should be placed on top of each other and the horn should be mounting towards each other. This gives you double throw distance capabilities.
